Gerard & Kelly’s work has notably evolved over several years around the Modern Living project, which presents itself as a series of performances, films, and installations that bring to light unknown stories of modernism and lead us to a reinterpretation through choreographic gesture of the architectural icons that surround us. To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Maeght Foundation, Gerard & Kelly bring their vision to the service of the architecture designed by Josep Lluís Sert in 1964 and the extension realized by Silvio d’Ascia in 2024, by introducing performative interventions throughout the site that challenge our perception of how collection objects and human bodies inhabit these spaces.
