La Fondation Maeght was created through an initial bequest by Aimé and Marguerite Maeght, which evolved over time to include the building and a collection of more than 13,000 works of art, as well as initial financial support from the Maeght family for the running of the organisation.
Now 60 years on, revenue derives primarily from ticket sales and commercial activities including the bookshop, cafe, private hire initiatives and travelling exhibitions.
As a non-profit, La Fondation does not receive regular public funding from the French government. This means that the support of individuals and companies is essential for its survival, and for the continuation of its mission to promote arts and culture in the decades to come.

Société des Amis
The Société des Amis is a wonderful group offering a yearly programme of artistic and cultural activities with the Fondation Maeght. With different membership levels, members can benefit from all-year access to the Foundation, invitations to openings, posters and/or catalogues of the exhibitions and first access to limited edition prints.
The International Council consists of an intimate group of loyal donors, based all over the world, whose donation directly supports the research, conservation and restoration programmes at La Fondation. Members of the Council benefit from a year-round calendar of events both in St Paul de Vence and internationally, particularly in Paris, London, Monaco and New York as well as exclusive behind the scenes access and bespoke opportunities around the exhibition calendar
Annual membership starts at €2500 with an exclusive rate €1000 for Under-35s.
We welcome corporate supporters for ad-hoc partnerships or sponsorship opportunities both for our exhibitions programme or for specific projects related to the conservation, or restoration of works of art, as well as programmes aimed at public engagement throughout the year. Whether in France or internationally, we can discuss different ways of tax-incentivised corporate support for a tailored experience best adapted to your company needs.
The Fondation Maeght offers a range of opportunities for corporate hire for private events. From intimate cocktails and after-hours guided visits to large scale dinners and musical evenings for up to 450 guests. Each event is tailored to your corporate needs after a bespoke consultation.
