Aimé Maeght was a great bibliophile, gathering one of the most beautiful collections in Europe of books with original plates, lithographs, engravings and drawings. He entrusted the best bookbinders with some of these precious works so that they could create, in the spirit of the book, completely original and unique object covers. In 2004, the Maeght Foundation presented for the first time a part of these masterpieces, this book constitutes the catalogue of this exhibition.
Numerous colour illustrations. Texts by Adrien Maeght, J.L. Prat and F. Chapon.
299 pages. An original cloth binding was created for the occasion.
