Roundtable Discussion with Hélène Delprat – Saturday, May 17 at 3pm, Nicole Dassault Gallery – Fondation Maeght

As part of the exhibition “Listen! This is an Eclipse”, the Fondation Maeght invites the artist Hélène Delprat, Laurence Bertrand Dorléac, guest curator of the exhibition, and Isabelle Maeght, administrator of the Fondation Maeght to a special roundtable discussion.

This conversation, free with admission to the Fondation, will take place on Saturday, May 17 at 3pm in the Nicole Dassault Gallery.

The event offers a unique opportunity to hear from the artist herself, whose singular path and imaginative, ironic, and deeply moving body of work resonates with the history of the Fondation. At the age of 16, it was here that she discovered Giacometti and Malraux’s Imaginary Museum—an encounter that left a lasting impression.

The roundtable will explore the making of the exhibition, the curatorial and artistic choices behind it, and the themes that drive Delprat’s work: history and art history, visual riddles, the absurd, memory, and fiction. A lively and insightful discussion, much like her art—playful, cryptic, and profoundly human.

Access is free after paying the Foundation’s admission fee – subject to availability.
