The complex includes exhibition halls, a chapel, a library containing 30,000 books on modern and contemporary art, a bookshop and a café.
Painters and sculptors have collaborated with the Catalan architect Josep Sert Lluίs by creating works integrated into the building and in nature: the Giacometti courtyard, the Miró labyrinth filled with sculptures and ceramics, the mural mosaics of Marc Chagall and Pierre Tal Coat, Georges Braque’s pool and mosaic as well as the stained glass in the chapel and the animated fountain by Pol Bury.

The Maeght Foundation proposes for the summer period guided tours of the exhibition Jan Fabre "My nation: the imagination", only in French. Price 5€ per person in addition to the price of entry.
